Disneyland in the Rain

So here goes a second post for today....don't get too used to it! :) We went to Disneyland yesterday and used our annual SoCal Passports for the fist time! Yay! It's so nice to have a pass now. You don't feel like you need to rush through the park and run from one side to another and wait in ginormous lines. If the line looks big, you move on. You can catch that ride next time! hehe. You get the picture. So that's exactly what we did yesterday. Not that there was allot of people though. Since it was raining off and on all day, not allot of people, no, not so much. I did quiet a few of the rides I did as a kid like the Rocket Jets which are now renovated and called Astro Orbitor. Now let me tell you about this one, I used to feel so tiny in this one as a kid. And all a sudden now, your knee starts pushing up against places that it didnt used to before so I guess 2 adults in the Orbitor now, not so good! Either the ride got smaller, or I got bigger? what do you think?! LOL We did the classic but always a must Space Mountain. I hadn't done Star Tours in forever, so that was a must. And I couldnt go without seeing one of my all time favorites...It's a small world. I know they said it was renovated again in 2008, but there were no major changes. I did see a few Disney characters in there though where I don't remember them before, but overall, its the same Small World I remember and love. Hope you like the pics :) Jose, I think you know who this picture is for :)

New hair

I got my hair cut Saturday! It's a big change since I had LONG hair before. The new dew it sitting at my shoulders with lot's of layers for extra movement. I've added bangs now too! They are taking the most to get used to since they graze my eye level. What do you think? Over all, I love it! I keep shaking my hair from side to side like one of those Pantene commercials.

I want to go back...

I wrote this in an email to my friends earlier this week before I started this blogg...here goes: While venturing on a small road trip up the coast this past Saturday, we happened upon a gem of a place. Redondo Beach!
I know, might now sound uber glam, but believe me, it was awesome!
The small Harbor was lined with amazing little bars that were packed with locals that were clearly getting they're drink on despite the early hour of around 6-630pm! Good times! lol
As we walked up we could hear the roaring beats of a live band that was covering an Ozzy tune. And as we got closer we looked through the open windows and could see a small mosh pit going! it was crazy!
As hungry as we were, we kept walking in search of some food. We passed small beach shacks, ice cream shops...and then...there it was!
This amazing layout of LIVE sea food! It was a open air- fresh fish market. They had all sorts of fish, crab, lobsters, and shrimp!
You pick it, they cook it! and for cheap too! Okay, so after eating 'al-fresco', we walked next door to the weirdest/interesting indoor carnival.
I attached several pics from the evening. you can see all the old games they have to play. All for the low-low price of $.25 or $1.
After giving the games a go, it was time for a drink! We started walking back toward the bars when my ear caught the sounds of some LIVE jazzzzzzz!
(see attached pics of band also) It was the coziest lil bar with the open ocean breeze blowing in as the band played away into the night.
I'm telling you, it was one of the funnest nights I've had in a long time. And I can't wait to do it again, with all of YOU!
what say?Do you guys want to go?
